Floyd Boyer, BS, RRT, RCP has over 35 years experience in multiple areas of Health Care.

Floyd's experience in Home Health Care spans over 21 years and includes Respiratory Care, HME, Rehab Technology, and Fitter Services. He has been involved extensively in state and national Respiratory Care associations and HME associations. Floyd is a member of the American Association for Respiratory Care and the North Carolina Society for Respiratory Care.

Floyd was a Board member and Chairman of the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board from July 2000 to July 2002 and currently is the Executive Director of the Board. He is also a Surveyor and Clinical Consultant for the Accreditation Commission for Health Care. In his duties as a Clinical Consultant he writes standards, data collection material and articles as well as answering questions from companies preparing for survey. Floyd is a member of ACHC's Standards Review Committee and Survey Review Committee.

This experience includes Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal experience at NC Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC; Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC; Baptist Medical Center; Jacksonville, FL; and Bladen County Hospital, Elizabethtown, NC.

Floyd's experience also includes 8 years in Respiratory Care Education as an Instructor and Program director at Forsyth Technical College, Winston-Salem, NC; and as an adjunct instructor at Jacksonville Junior College, Jacksonville, FL; and Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA. Floyd has over 12 years experience as Director of Hospital Respiratory Care Departments at Moses Cone Hospital, Baptist Medical Center, and Bladen County Hospital.

Floyd is a private instrument rated pilot and owns an aircraft. He has logged over 1200 hours and uses the aircraft frequently for business. Although he stays very busy with regulatory matters and consulting he finds time to fly his airplane and ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for relaxation.

Sil Anderson, RN, LNC, MAAA is President and CEO of United Health Standards. She has over 18 years of experience in health care and human resource management. In 1999, she was inducted into the International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs.

Throughout her career, Sil has been involved in adult education, learning and training. She is currently an adjunct instructor at Cape Fear Community College for the Continuing Education Department. Sil served as the Resource Manager for the Coastal Home Care Coalition (Duke Endowment Education Grant).

Mrs. Anderson served as a national Project Trainer/Nurse Reviewer for Aperture's HEDIS survey. She also currently serves as preceptor and advisor for the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), coordinating education for surveyors and conducting "train the trainer" workshops for preceptors.

Sil is the founder and President of UHS/Educational Services. She is also an Organization Development (OD) and Design consultant, and is a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC).

Mrs. Anderson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she studied Nursing and Psychology. She is also a graduate of Mount Olive College of Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration / Organizational Design and Development. She is currently enrolled at St. Joseph's College pursuing a dual Master Degree (MHA/MSN).

Julie A. Bowman, RRT, RCP is the founder and president of HME Solutions, LLC, which offers HME business consulting in the areas of Operations Strategy, Business Execution and Accreditation.

She is the author of "The Keys to Best Practice Operations for the HME Business Owner", a book of valuable ideas to operate a more efficient business in these ever changing times. She is the co-author of the "HME Business Builder", an industry newsletter.

Currently, Julie works in many areas of HME Accreditation. She is a surveyor for ACHC and consults in the area of accreditation. She also publishes the HME Accreditation Simplified Manual, a policy and procedure manual that equips the HME supplier for accreditation.

Julie is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with twenty-three years experience in the Home Medical Equipment Industry. She has been an HME business owner and has also been an operations executive in a large national organization, managing over 50 HME offices. Additionally, she held positions of Vice President of Compliance and Best Practice in that organization.

As an active participant in trade organizations, Julie served as President of the Colorado Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers and served for two years on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers (now the American Association of Homecare).

Cecil (Skip) Cook, RRT, RCP has over 20 years experience in the Respiratory Care Field, with over 12 years in the HME industry. Skip has been a Corporate Director of Best Practice of a national homecare company for several years in which he helped prepare HME offices for survey. He has also been a Branch Manager for 10 years of a HME location.

Skip is a surveyor for the Accreditation Commission for HealthCare located in Raleigh, North Carolina, he surveys HME and Clinical Respiratory Services.

Skip has been an instructor for several Respiratory Care Programs in Western, Pennsylvania, both in the clinical and classroom arena.

Skip enjoys volunteering as a fireman in his community and relaxes by coaching his children’s’ sport teams.

Judy Green, RRT, RCP has over twenty-five years of management experience in the medical field. She was the Manager of a Cardiopulmonary Department at a large medical center in Georgia for almost ten years. After leaving the hospital environment, she worked over fourteen years for a national home health business. While employed at Pediatric Services of America, she served as the Assistant Manager, Location Director and Regional Quality Improvement Coordinator.

Judy presently works part time for the NC Respiratory Care Board as a certified Inspector / Investigator and does surveys for the Accreditation Commission for Healthcare (ACHC). She has a degree in Respiratory Care and is licensed in the state of NC. She also does consulting work in the home health care industry.

Judy is married and enjoys hiking, traveling and strength training. She shares her home with a dog and four cats.

Verna Gross, CRT, RCP has over 30 years experience as a respiratory therapist in HME and Clinical Respiratory Services. She was instrumental in the start up and creation of a hospital based respiratory therapy department in 1975. Her extensive experience has centered in the rural communities in the mountains of Colorado where she started a branch for a national company in 1980 and expanded it to cover a service area of more than 100 square miles with 3 satellite offices. Her management of this operation extended for 22 years.

Verna currently works as a surveyor for the Accreditation Commission of Healthcare (ACHC) as well as manage her husband’s Plumbing and Heating business. She also does consulting in the HME industry.

Verna is married and has four adult children and currently the grandmother of four. She enjoys mountain living including fly fishing and camping. She has a love for scuba diving and travel and has logged some fantastic dives throughout the Caribbean and Pacific waters.

Teresa Harbour is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Administration.

She has been working in the home care field for the past seventeen years. Her experience includes positions ranging from hospice staff nurse, home care case manager, clinical director, hospice director, home health director, and ACHC surveyor.

Teresa was the recipient of the 2000-2001 Ralph W. Ketner Productivity Award for cost-efficiencies in home health and the 2003 Altrusa Woman of Achievement in Professional Services.

Teresa serves on the Association of Home and Hospice Care of North Carolina’s Board of Directors and Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care’s Advisory Board. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the North Carolina Public Health Association, and the American Heart Association.

Charli Hoialmen is the President/founder of Diversified Management Systems, Inc. a ISO 9001 certified consulting company.

Charli is experienced in the fields of service industries, business management, professional services, process and manufacturing industries, computer software / hardware, distribution.

Charli has assisted several companies in service, healthcare and manufacturing, in becoming ISO 9000 certified. She participated in the first International Standards Workshop for the purpose of developing ISO 9000 guidelines for healthcare and has assisted a health care accreditation company to become the first in the world to achieve certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard. She has also assisted in the development of the first hybrid standard (ISO 9001:2000 and ACHC Standard) for the DME Sector

Charli is a member of the Board of Commissioners for ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care) and is registered with the American Society for Quality.

Wayne M. Link, CRT, RCPT, RCP is the president of the North Carolina Based Link Consulting Group, Inc. Wayne has 40 years experience in the respiratory care profession and 22 years in the HME industry, Wayne graduated from the Respiratory Care program at California Medical Center of Los Angeles, CA. Wayne was the founder, President/CEO of the North Carolina based HME company, Link Medical, Inc. Currently, Wayne is a surveyor for the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. located in Raleigh, NC where he surveys HME, Clinical Respiratory Care, Rehab Technology and Medical Supply provider services.

Wayne has an active consulting company that works with HME providers that are preparing for accreditation. Wayne also lectures at Medtrade, at State HME Associations and private groups around the country on accreditation issues. In Addition, Wayne conducts accreditation preparation workshops. Wayne has been active with NCAMES since 1994 and has served as president and chaired several boards and committees of the NCAMES. Wayne is has been serving for the past 10 years on the NC Board of Pharmacy HME Subcommittee as the Respiratory Care Representative as well as the chairman for 6 years.

Jack K. Mosley, CRT, RCP, has nearly four decades of experience in the respiratory care profession, including twenty-three years in the HME industry. For the past eighteen years, he has been the regional director for a national home care company.

Jack is a graduate of the St. Mary's School of Inhalation Therapy in Decatur, Illinois. He is a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

He is currently a surveyor for the Accreditation Commission for HealthCare located in Raleigh, North Carolina where he surveys HME and Clinical Respiratory Care services. Jack also serves on the North Carolina Medicaid Subcommittee on HME.

Jack is the director of JKM Consulting Services, working with HME providers who are preparing for accreditation.

Herman Randall RRT, RCP, has over 26 years of management experience in homecare and Respiratory Care in large teaching hospitals. He has helped with overseeing the start up of several homecare locations for a national homecare company.

Herman has also taught Respiratory Care at a local community college for several years. He is presently a location manager for a national homecare company, and a surveyor for ACHC.

Herman is the CEO of Professional Home Care Consultants, LLC. He also is an avid motorcycle rider. Herman is on his Goldwing any time he has a spare moment.

Rob Summitt, CRTS is currently the owner and operator of Summitt Group, Inc. a Rehabilitation Technology Supply Company in Chattanooga, TN. Summitt Group, Inc. was founded by Rob in 1998. His company specializes in Assistive Technology Equipment and services the East Tennessee and North Georgia areas. Rob has been a Rehabilitation Technology Supply Surveyor for the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) since 2004. He is a member of The National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) and the Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).

Rob's work and his company have been featured in HME News and Exceptional Parenting Magazine. He is a member of the Palmetto GBA's DMERC Provider Communications Advisory Group (PCOM) which provides feedback regarding supplier education and training topics. Rob is active in his local community. He is a founding board member of the Business Advisory Council, which advocates for businesses in the state of Tennessee. He is also the Chairman of his local Goodwill HELPS Program Advisory Committee. This innovative program provides donated used medical equipment at no charge to individuals in need. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BA in Communications. Rob resides in Harrison, TN with his wife and son.
